The challenge was that users found the cryptocurrency exchange process confusing and were skipping key steps in onboarding, leading to low engagement with the feature.
Challenges
We started by understanding user pain points through analytics and surveys. Then we redesigned the flow, simplifying the exchange steps and adding tooltips to guide users. We also revamped the onboarding to highlight the benefits of the exchange feature early on.

We introduced a more intuitive user flow with three clear steps: selecting the Shping Coin amount, choosing the destination (bank or deals), and confirming with a summary screen. We added educational pop-ups during onboarding to explain how Shping Coin works and why exchanging it is valuable.
